Internship Program

Program Overview

The Young Government Leaders (YGL) internship program’s primary objective is to provide students the chance to obtain real-world experience relevant to the field that they want to pursue. The program allows students to use the knowledge they have gained in the classroom in a setting that is more representative of the professional workplace. Interns will have the opportunity to receive hands-on experience, network with experts in their professional area, and develop a deeper understanding of the occupational field they are most interested in.

Anyone who is currently enrolled in a degree program at, or has recently graduated (within 1 year) from, an accredited college or university has the opportunity to participate in this Internship Program. There is a wide range of internship opportunities available, some of which include, but are not limited to, the following: business, marketing, technology, human resources, and communications.
